Job Description | |||||||
Role and Responsibilities · Inventorying salvageable parts on end-of-life vehicles · Inventorying whole end-of-life vehicles · Identifying and describing the condition of the used parts for sale accurately · Reconcile and report inventory variances · Reports discrepancies to the appropriate manager · Adheres to and supports all safety measures and programs · Coordinates inventory resolution with the Parts Manager · Excellent product identification skills · Other duties as assigned · Some disassembly of vehicles being inventoried- tools required Qualifications and Education Requirements · One year of automotive industry experience in a body shop, collision shop, or salvage yard · Experience using Pinnacle Pro or similar used auto parts inventory software (preferred, not required) · Computer literacy is a must – especially the use of hand-held wireless inventory devices · Ability to take photos of vehicles and upload them to our software program · High school diploma or equivalent · Drivers’ license and reliable transportation · Ability to read, write and speak English · Attention to detail is most important aspect of the job, with heavy focus on identifying and reporting part conditions, identifying and uploading correct part/interchange numbers, and taking/uploading good pictures of the each vehicle and each part Physical Demands · Able to lift up to 50 pounds · Able to be on your feet up to 10 hours per day · Able to work in outside weather conditions year round · Able to be certified to safely drive a fork lift · Able to enter data on a computer and hand-held device | |||||||
