We’re looking for an experienced and skilled diesel mechanic to join our team. We are a multifaceted manufacturer/recycling company with a fleet of over 70 pieces of heavy equipment and trucks.
Qualified candidates need experience servicing and repairing a wide range of diesel trucks and heavy equipment, along with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and an excellent work ethic. We’re searching for the best!
Responsibilities and Duties
Greasing, servicing, & repairing heavy equipment and trucks
Heavy trucks include 2 Car and 4 Car Carrier Ramp Trucks, Roll-Off Trucks, Medium and Heavy Duty Wreckers.
Light Duty trucks include Rack body and Box truck delivery vehicles.
Heavy equipment includes front end loaders, fork lifts, excavators, material handlers, stationary equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing any arising mechanical issues
Must be able to manage and coordinate shop supplies necessary to complete service/repair jobs, such as oil/air filters, oil and fluids, etc.
Other tasks within our auto recycler functions, when needed
Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge in the major areas of automotive/diesel repair and maintenance
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well as a team
Wide variety of own tools required for position.
Must have valid drivers license, CDL license a bonus, not required
